I have been playing the drums for over 13 years now. I have put in at least 8,000 hours of practice and wish to share my knowledge of drums, music and rhythm with the world. I love the people music has allowed me to surround myself with and I wish to share that experience with others.
I started playing drums when I was ten years old and learned from Pi, a graduate of berklee. I then went on to learn from other instructors in California and New Orleans. All the while I continued to teach myself while continuing to play with other new groups. I started the music program at the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem Massachusetts. I also founded an afterschool music program at The Portsmouth Abbey School in Rhode Island. When I attended college at Tulane University in New Orleans I was chosen to play Crawfest with The Low FLying Buzzards my junior year and again I was chosen to play the following year with a new band called THE BUMMERS.
Music has always been a very integral part of my life and I know the countless rewards it offers the human mind. I promise that I will teach you amazing technique, feel, creativity and will also instill a sense of excitement and wonder that will keep you inspired.
